Born in 2009, Ropsten is a four-piece band that combines electronic music with space rock, kraut and trip hop. The name was taken from a place in the North-East of Stockholm and literally means "stone that shouts": in the past, it was where people stood to call the boat that would have brought them to the other side of the strait. Ropsten is a cold place.
